J. Daniel Moody, Co-Founder/CEO - Sales and Business Development Strategist

Dan is a well-rounded and seasoned business executive, entrepreneur, sales & marketing strategist and a renowned sales trainer with more than 30 years of executive level leadership   experience in private and public companies. He has been a highly sought after Business Consultant for the past 13 years since leaving the corporate world to start a consulting firm.

Prior to becoming a consultant he was one of the Founders and served as Vice President Sales & Marketing for The National Dispatch Center (NDC), a leading provider of Communications Gateway Services to wireless communications carriers across the US. NDC grew from a start-up with 15 employees to over 1400 employees with more than $34M in annual sales. During
his career he has also held sales management and executive management positions with Fujitsu, GTE, Sprint/North Supply, Skytel and Honeywell.

Dan has a wealth of experience in the start-up world having co-founded several technology and professional services companies. In addition to the National Dispatch Center, he co-founded NavSearch Technologies, an early provider of location based information services for automobiles and Recreational Vehicles. As a business consultant he has participated in the successful launch of several high tech start-ups across the country. Through his consulting practice he has provided guidance in the development of business plans, sales & marketing strategies, fund raising and strategic and operational planning. He has often taken an active day- to-day role in these ventures serving in such roles as Interim President, COO and interim VP Sales & Marketing. He has also served in the capacity of Advisory Board Member to several San Diego technology firms.

As a result of his depth of experience managing the overall operations of small and mid-size companies Dan expanded his consulting practice several years ago to include business turn-around engagements. In this capacity he helped numerous companies from many different industries identify and implement strategies that have literally saved companies.

His consulting practice also includes Management and Leadership Coaching.  He works with business owners, executives, senior managers and management teams to help them look beyond their day-to-day challenges and to focus more strategically. His coaching programs can help get any business running at peak performance; improve the operational efficiency and the bottom line results. He helps create\and implement strategic plans that take companies to the next level.

Dan is also an author of Game-Changing Life Strategies and the soon to be released Game-Changing Sales Strategies. He and his co-authors, Sam Johnson & Dr. Tony Alessandra, have a series of “Game-Changing Strategies” books planned to share their success strategies for several areas of life and business.  Dan is also a popular speaker, blogger, panel member/moderator and guest lecturer on the topic of sales and business.

Samuel Johnson, Success Training Strategist

Sam is an entrepreneur and consultant with a history of successful ventures in San Diego, CA. In addition to his role as the Success Training Strategist at Game-Changing Strategist, Sam is also the Founder and Principal of ALC Performance Enhancement.  ALC is a training organization that provides dynamic training programs to sales professionals, corporate managers, students, athletes and individuals to give them the mental tools needed to unlock their potential. He developed and teaches the Four Post Foundations for Success program, an incredibly powerful set of tools that will unleash the highest levels of performance capabilities of every individual.

Sam also founded Competitor Consulting, the sister company of ALC that works specifically with individual athletes, teams and coaches.  Competitive sports training starts with the body and ends with the mind. Elite athletes by nature have an unequaled dedication to the physical side of their sport but often need better tools to help them work on the mental side of their game.  Competitor Consulting fills the gap and provides the athlete with the mental training and assistance they need.

Prior to founding ALC and Competitor Consulting, Sam was a Partner in Technology Assurance Group (TAG), a national organization of leading independently owned telecommunications companies. Sam successfully added more than 100 new member companies to the organization and provided business training sessions to help them increase sales, profit margins and to leverage their economic buying power. He is a co-author of Game-Changing Life Strategies and Game-Changing Sales Stragies.

Johnson holds a Bachelors Degree from the University California San Diego in Modern European History, holds a Certificate in DISC Personality Theory, is professionally trained in Meyers Briggs Type Indicator, and holds a Certificate in Sports Psychology from SDUIS. He is completed all courseware and testing for his Masters in Psychology and in the process of finishing his thesis.

Derek Gresham, Financial Strategist

Derek has a strong and diverse financial background in the USA and Europe and is skilled in all areas of financial management.  As a corporate CFO and as an independent Financial Consultant he has been the driving force for implementing financial strategies that produce results.

While heading Financial Consulting Services he helped numerous companies with Short and Long Range Financial Planning, Fund Raising, Day to Day Accounting Guidance & Direction and guided the owners in the sale of a Company.   As CFO for Mobile Systems Wireless he led the company’s change in strategic direction from chaotic growth to profitability. Derek’s experience also includes executive level financial positions with The National Dispatch Center, Metrocast and British Telecommunications.

Derek received his CIMA certification from the London School of Accounting and has a BA in Business Administration from Glasgow College of Technology.

Pat Harrison, Operations Strategist

Pat Harrison is a change agent. His entire career has been focused on start up, turnaround situations, and dealing with organizational and individual change.  He is an excellent project manager whether leading a group in starting up a new manufacturing plant or producing a new product line.

Pat has over 28 years of business experience, 18 years at the executive level.  From his Vice President level positions in operations and divisions, to founder and principal of his own consulting and coaching group, Pat has gained a broad range of experience in the business world while coaching and mentoring others in the workplace.

Pat’s business experience is spread between Fortune 500, start-up and non-profit organizations.

He has held positions such as Manufacturing Manager, Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Manufacturing & Logistics Services and President.

Pat has a BS in Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco and attended Stanford’s Graduate School of Business for Finance & Accounting for Executives.

Brian Christie, Public Relations Strategist

Brian Christie is an expert at bringing companies strategic press and market recognition. He is also a familiar face to television news viewers. For over two decades he was a primary news anchor, writer and reporter for media giants like ABC TV, CNN, CNN Headline News and CNN International. He was also a long running news anchor in San Diego with KUSI TV and Fox 6. Brian is also the host and Executive Producer of The Boomer Show, a nationally syndicated talk show targeted at the Boomer Generation. He has hosted numerous local and national talk shows including 5 years as the host of San Diego People which featured stories and interviews with local businesses and business leaders on KUSI, San Diego.

As a Senior Executive with companies like Aradiant, One Voice Technologies and Secure Alert, Brian developed extensive and successful PR, Marketing and Advertising campaigns to give these businesses a distinct advantage in the marketplace. He has also worked as a media coach for a number of top executives and an advisor to several PR and advertising firms. Brian has unique insight, perspective and knowledge into the world of media. His thoughtful strategy and creativity give clients a distinctive edge.

Brian holds a degree in Communications from the Leland Powers School of Communications, Boston, Mass.

David Carnevale, Co-Founder, Marketing Advisor

David’s background encompasses over 20 years of executive-level experience in private and public companies. He has provided expert industry analysis, marketing consulting and market research experience for a number of high technology businesses ranging from semiconductors to multimedia services. He has extensive experience in consumer purchase decision processes, product positioning, marketing strategy and tactics, primary market research, product marketing, product development, and competitive analysis.

Most recently, David was Vice President, Multimedia Content and Distribution at iSuppli Corporation, a leading industry analyst firm.   He has served as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for American Technology Corporation, a leader in highly directed audio solutions for digital signage applications; Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Path1 Network Technologies, a pioneer in the delivery of broadcast-quality HD video over IP networks in the satellite, cable, telco and mobile industries; Senior Vice President of Marketing at Mitsubishi Electronics for their multimedia display products and launched a $500 million two-way wireless voice and data network as Vice President of Marketing at PageNet.  Earlier in his career, he was a Partner at Regis McKenna and a Group Vice President at Gartner.

David received an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BS from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
